Kia ora, Talofa lava, we are Room 6 at Ruapotaka School in Glen Innes, Auckland. We are Year 3 and 4 learners working with Mrs Tidswell our teacher. We are kind and helpful. We like reading about animals, doing maths and swimming. It was a beautiful day when we took this picture in our playground. You might be able to see our maunga in the background. It is Mount Wellington or Maungarei. We are becoming 'Better than Before' which is our school motto.
Kia ora Room 6, Thank you for introducing yourself and sharing a bit about your learning. I am excited to read more about your learning adventures this year. I like reading too.

Hi Room 6! What a beautiful day to take a photo! Keep working hard to be 'Better than Before'.
ReplyDeleteHi Room 6. We are your buddy class in Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu. We loved your class picture and were very impressed with your "better than before' because that is ours as well. Our maunga is Mount Cook but we can't see it from our school unless we go to the beach and it is a really clear day. Have a look on Google Earth and see if you can see Mt Cook and find our school and our beautiful beach that we cleaned up on Friday as part of our Enviroschool's programme. Blog you later Takutai class.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Takutai class, welcome to our blog. We did look on Google Earth and found your school. Do you swim at the beach? We have a school pool. You can see it on Google Earth too.
ReplyDeleteKia ora this is Emora from Edmund Hillary School. I like how all of the students are wearing uniforms. My question is for Mrs Mitchell, do you enjoy teaching at Ruapotaka School?
ReplyDeleteI love teaching at Ruapotaka School because our students are a great bunch of kids. They are polite, caring and keen to learn.
DeleteKia Ora this is Ema from Edmund Hillary School. I love how your students are wearing uniforms. My question is for the students, How much do you love your school?
ReplyDelete100% says Mikayla. We love our school so much because its clean, we get free fruit and milk every day, there are no bullies and we get better than before by learning and coming to school every day. ( most of us ) We like spelling and writing. We enjoy reading with our teacher and Mrs Shortland our learning assistant. We have 15 children in our class.
DeleteTena Koe, this is Ellakaye and Ruqayat from Edmund Hillary School. We liked your photo that you took and we also liked how everybody is wearing their uniform.Although we found a mistake in your text maybe next time you can proof read it and fix it.
ReplyDeleteMrs Grant is teaching us to blog. We have only started and it was actually her error but we were grateful for her help and didn't like to point out such a small mistake. No doubt we will make many in our learning journey.
