Breaking News Covid Level 3

Welcome whanau,

Room 6 and Room 7 have created an exciting movie for our Manaiakalani film festival. We are a team of year 3/4 and 7/8 students who usually buddy up for reading and thought this would be another great way to continue our learning together.

We had so much fun, learning how to hold a camera, take sequenced shots as well as looking forward and sideways towards the camera. We had a few challenges around sound and props, but loved making it anyway.

Its called "Breaking News Covid Level 3"

Daphne's Dilemma

Our film is about friendship. We made costumes out of paper and cardboard using lots of colourful paint. It’s very helpful to have a friend that helps you when your stuck and gives you a hand. We hope you enjoy our film.

Our Manaiakalani Film Festival Teaser

Room 6 has been working hard on our film for the Manaiakalani Film Festival in Term 4.

Our film will be shared on our blog on the day of the film festival, Wednesday the 13th of November.

Until then our film is a secret. However if you are curious, here is a little teaser for you.

We are having lots of fun filming and are excited to see ourselves on the big screen at Hoyts.

You can ask some questions about our film in the comments... but we can't share too much!
